NFL
The NFL playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the regular season to determine the NFL champion. As of 2018, there are four rounds of playoffs. In each round, the top seeded team plays the lowest seeded team that qualified, and the winners advance to the next round. The playoffs culminate with theSuper Bowl, which is usually held on the first Sunday in February and is played between the champions of the NFC and AFC.
AFC
The American Football Conference (AFC) playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the National Football League (NFL)’s regular season to determine the AFC champion. The sixteen teams that qualify, four division winners and four wild card teams, play an eight-team, four-round tournament culminating in the AFC Championship Game on the first Sunday in February. The four division winners are seeded 1 through 4 based on their won-loss record, and the wild card teams are seeded 5 through 8.
NFC
Today’s NFC playoff games are:
– Saints vs. Eagles at 4:40 p.m. ET on Fox
– Falcons vs. Rams at 8:15 p.m. ET on NBC
Wild Card
The National Football League (NFL) playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the regular season to determine the NFL champion. Six teams from each of the league’s two conferences qualify for the playoffs.
Divisional
The first round of the playoffs is the Wild Card game. The divisional round features the four remaining teams in each conference, seeded according to their record. The match-ups are as follows:
AFC:
No. 1 seed vs. No. 6 seed
No. 2 seed vs. No. 5 seed
NFC:
No. 1 seed vs. No. 6 seed
No. 2 seed vs. No. 5 seed
Championship
The 2019 NFL season is finally here and we have reached the conference championship round. The conference championship games are the last step before Super Bowl LIII, which will be played on Sunday, February 3, 2019. This year’s conference championship games will be played on Sunday, January 20, 2019. The AFC Championship Game will be played at 3:05 PM ET and will be televised on CBS. The NFC Championship Game will be played at 6:40 PM ET and will be televised on FOX.
Super Bowl
The Super Bowl is the biggest and most important American football game of the year. It is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL). The game is played by the two best teams from the NFL’s American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC).

The NFL schedule for the 2019 playoff games has been released. Today’s games are as follows:
AFC Wild Card Round:
– Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans at 4:35 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC
– Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys at 8:15 p.m. ET on FOX
NFC Wild Card Round:
– Los Angeles Rams vs. Chicago Bears at 1:05 p.m. ET on NBC

NFL Standings
The NFL playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the end of the National Football League (NFL) regular season to determine the NFL champion. Six teams from each of the league’s two conferences qualify for the playoffs. A seeded team plays a wild-card team in its conference in the first round. In the second round, the remaining seeded teams compete against each other. The two surviving teams from each conference’s Divisional round meet in the respective AFC and NFC Conference Championship games, with those winners advancing to face each other in the Super Bowl which is held at a neutral site.
